Dr. Kenan Vrca – Biography
Owner and founder of Planet of Health BH
Dr. Kenan Vrca is the owner and founder of Planet of Health BH. He was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1954. He earned his MD diploma at the University of Sarajevo, Faculty of Medicine in 1978. He then specializes in Family Medicine. In 1999 he received a Business Administration (B.A.) in Management at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology – NAIT in Canada. In addition, he was educated in Integrative Medicine in Canada and Slovenia.
He has more than 20 years of experience in the public health care service, as well as the world’s largest companies in the pharmaceutical industry, which has, by his own admission, encouraged him to make a complete professional and lifestyle change:
“Conventional Medicine and the Pharmaceutical Industry are two sides of the same stone. Unfortunately, in the last few decades, conventional health care is financially burdened and morally threatened not only in Bosnia and Herzegovina and eastern Europe, but all over the world. The possible causes for such a condition are various, but eventually, the patients are the ones paying the highest price, because under these circumstances – few are truly interested in devoting themselves to cure a disease or solve a health issue”.
“The only right way of balancing our metabolism is through natural means, which we here at Planet of Health BH use extensively, that is, the principle of nature is the sole reason of our establishment”.
Dr. Kenan Vrca is the President of the Society of Integrative Medicine of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and a member of the European Society of Integrative Medicine which is based in Berlin. He is the author and co-author of numerous studies published and presented at congresses of Integrative Medicine.
